terroir quality wines

Since 2000, Veramar Vineyard has produced some of the best wine in Virginia. Our winemaker, Justin Bogaty, received a certificate in oenology from UC Davis, and has since received 61 ratings of 85 points or higher from Wine Enthusiast Magazine, as well as numerous medals at Decanter World Wine Awards, the most prestigious wine competition anywhere in the world.

Justin’s goal is that each wine with a Veramar label is made to the highest standards of winemaking – not just compared to other Virginia wines, but to any wine in the world. The Shenandoah Valley is a truly remarkable winemaking region, and we hope that each bottle of wine we create is a step forward in fulfilling the wonderful potential of the Shenandoah Valley’s world-class terroir.
